I had a great time on our girls trip! They had some cool activities and the Mexican night they had was super fun!

The pools where nice and the roof top bar with the jacuzzis was amazing!

I feel like the staff could have been a little more welcoming. I feel like with an all inclusive the drinks are usually a little on the weaker side but the drinks barley had any alcohol and tasted very watered down. If we didn’t ask for doubles or triples it was like we were drinking non alcoholic drinks

Fabulous!! Don’t hesitate to stay here!

the space was beautiful and the staff were top notch! we felt special and seen from the moment we got there until the moment we left for the airport. the accommodations were perfect and the staff seemed to anticipate your need before you knew you needed it! we will definitely be returning!

the only thing I would suggest is that they have a smart tv. granted, we were rarely even in our room but at night when we were in bed it would have been nice to watch Netflix or to have a guide listing on the tv so we could pick something to watch. again, a VERY small detail and the only negative! keep up the great work!

Sun-sational!

I loved the location - halfway between Puerto Vallarto and Boca De Tomatlan, the jumping off point for beaches further south. I loved the warm, friendly staff. I enjoyed the view - both poolside and of the ocean. The breakfast buffet was fun with so much to choose from. Can't beat a swim up bar.

One staff member at La Luce seemed somewhat desperate to get a good review for himself and the restaurant as well as to get a gratuity. The other 99% of staff were all awesome.

Some ups and downs but overall decent stay

The food was great - lots of variety with buffet style and a la carte options, as well as some action stations. There’s also a snack bar in case you wanted a grab-and-go option. Drinks were quite good with generous amounts of alcohol. If you are interested in premium alcohol options you can pay extra for the day and they will use the premium ones for your drinks. They don’t mention this at the time of check-in, unfortunately. Some staff members definitely pulled the weight of others - friendlier, more attentive, and provided excellent service. A special shout out to Martin who was the food and beverage/restaurants manager. He personally checked on us and when we mentioned that we had a few unpleasant experiences, he got the chef to make some special local dishes and drinks for us. He definitely knows how the service industry works (having worked in the industry myself) and understood that little personalized gestures can go a long way. Also want to mention the lady bartender at the martini bar - Odeth - who was the only one who knew how to make a killer dirty martini! The rooms are decent and spacious. Every room comes with a balcony so you’ll get at least a partial view of the ocean from your room. The washroom has all the amenities you’d need for your stay. The beach is lovely and some of the facilities were great.

The check-in process should have included a quick guide on how to use the services provided to guests. This was our first time at an all-inclusive so some info would have helped. We assumed they had our credit card details already (through this booking) as they did not ask us if we would like to have our card on file. We had to come to the reception twice to get our CC on file and again to opt for the premium bar. The fact that that the reception is on a completely different floor from where all the activities are taking place isn’t the most convenient. They could either make sure to mention all these details at check-in OR have a representative from reception at PB floor to help guests with requests like ours. Some staff members were not as attentive or friendly. We even tipped generously from the beginning of our stay hoping that it might help get their attention but that did not seem to have any impact. The staff that were attentive and friendly managed to change our bad experiences, however (Martin, Odeth and others) The room and washroom wasn’t as clean as I hoped it would be. There were large stains on the couch/day bed, scum in the washroom sink and the toilet flush wasn’t working well. However, they sent housekeeping staff to fix the toilet immediately after we mentioned about it. We felt that for CAD $600 a night it may have not been the best value for money. Pro-tip: Stay away from the vendors on the beach, including the ladies offering massages. The prices are greatly inflated, and you can find massages for much cheaper near the Malecón.

All of the Variety of food and activities! The view is incredible the stuff was very very attentive and friendly..

Need bigger bottles of water! I hated to ask for so many. Our room needed a fan so badly. Wish they had snorkels we could use!!

Friendliness. Everyone went out of their way to make sure you were having a pleasurable stay. The cabana helpers set up our cabana, kept the shade on us, our cups full of merriment (alcohol). The waiters kept the coffee coming, smiles for miles. Security is top notch. I had another stay at a different hotel here and security was scary. But not here. Everything was fantastic. Alejandra with concierge services was the best. She checked in everyday to see if there was anything we needed each day to make our stay as perfect as possible. My wife unfortunately left behind her watch, well Alejandra is boxing it up as I type this to get it out to us. If you visit stop by and say hello to her she'll make sure your stay is amazing. Thank you Alejandra.

I guess the only drawback was the road noise, up until midnight there is quite a bit of road noise from the highway outside. But other than that this place is amazing.

My family and I had a wonderful week and we would come back and stay again!

I thought that the buffet was great. We have young kids and they didn't care to go to the other restaurants so we found ourselves back at the buffet more than my husband or I wanted but it was okay bc the food was always delicious. The food variety was great and they did a great job of getting the food out right away (never empty spaces were food should be). The staff was also super friendly. Loved the entertainment and daily activities.

I felt like we weren't informed on the property when we first arrived...there was no map so we either had to ask where things (restaurants, general store, etc) were located. No one told us how the restaurants worked. All they said was that you did not need reservations but then you could make a reservation for the day of or you could wait 45 min to an hour to eat and that is just not doable with young children...so we found ourselves back at the buffet. The property overall is great but on the cusp of needing updates. The pool tiles were falling off and that was not only an eyesore but you would step on them when in the pool.

A great resort, food and fun activities and got to see some tropical fish on the calm days

Very clean resort and quiet rooms the entertainment staff was amazing and we had a great time participating in the activities food was very good as well

it would be great if they had a hot tub at pool level it would be better if you could make reservations at all the restaurants but the buffet was great so all was not lost but the first come first serve is great if you’re there right when the restaurant opens but with young kids not ideal to wait
